We are seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer with hands-on experience in Mar Q/Lucid Press to join our university client’s team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and enhancing our template library, ensuring that it aligns with the university’s branding standards. You will also be responsible for redesigning templates as needed, ensuring a consistent and visually appealing output across all university materials.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the Mar Q/Lucid Press template library, ensuring templates are up-to-date and organized.
- Redesign existing templates to improve visual appeal and functionality, while adhering to university branding guidelines.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their design needs and translate them into effective templates.
- Create designs in c and efficiently transfer them into Mar Q/Lucid Press as needed.
- Design directly within Mar Q/Lucid Press for quick turnaround projects.
- Ensure all design work maintains high standards of accuracy, quality, and creativity.
Qualifications:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 4 years of experience
- Proven experience working with Mar Q/Lucid Press, particularly in an administrative or template management capacity.
- Previous design experience within a university setting is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign with the ability to seamlessly transfer designs to MarQ/Lucid Press.
- Solid understanding of graphic design principles, layout, typography, and color theory.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
